Will of Catharine Payne
I Catharine G. Payne of the Town of Micanopy
and state of Florida, being of sound mind,
memory, and discretion, Though weak and
frail of body, and Considering the uncertainty
of life, do Therefore make and
ordain, publish and declare This to be
my last Will and Testament; That is to
Say, First after all my lawful debts are
discharged and paid, I will and bequeath
unto my beloved husband George B. Payne
such an interest in the profits annually
accruing from the residue of my estate
seal and personal as may be necessary
for his Comfort and support in life
Secondly to my beloved Children Ida
Morrison S. Sarah Penn, Virginia Morton
and Rosa, I will and bequeath all my
estate both real and personal now by
me owned or hereafter to be acquired
in the State of Florida said property to
be used Judiciously in Maintaining and
Educating my said Children, and to be
divided among Them as They Marry or
become of lawful age Share and Share
alike, And it is my desire that my
executor herein appointed shall manage
and Control The property of my
Children above named in such manner
as he may think most to Their interest
And Should my said executor
deem it expedient after my decease at
any time to sell The whole or a portion
of my Estate, he has full power to sell
The same either at public or private
Sale and to invest The proceeds in
such manner as he may deem right
and proper, for The benefit of my said
