I, Charles Gibbons of the Territory of Florida
and County of Alachua do make and
publish this my last Will and Testament
hereby revoking and making void all former
Wills by me at any time heretofore made. And first
I direct that my body be decently interred
in the Ground according to the sites and ceremonies
of the Church and that my funeral be
conducted in a manner corresponding with
my Estate in life an situation. And as to
such worldly Estate as it has pleased
God to intrust me with, I dispose of
the same as follows;
First; I direct that my funeral expenses
be paid as soon after my decease as possible
out of the first money that is collected
from my Estate, And Second I will
all my cattle say One hundred head or
more and their increase and forty or fifty
head of hogs and their increase and my
horse or horses that I leave at my death all
to Sylvester Bryant (junior) Son of Siboes &
Elizabeth Bryant and also all notes and
accounts due to me. In witness whereof
I Charles Gibbons the Testator have to this
my last Will written, do set my hand and
seal this 21st day of May in the Year of our
Lord Eighteen hundred and forty four
