Second     I give & bequeath unto my daughter Martha Mary
Delea Dell & her heirs my negro girl Peggy one good
horse saddle & bridle & one good bedstead feather bed &
necessary clothing for the same, over & above her equal
division my desire is to deal equally with my
children all alike near & dear to me & I
think this extra portion will not more than make
this my youngest equal with what the other
older have had & in the event of the death of any of
my children before his or her legacy may become
due, my will is, that his her or their portion or
portions be equally divided among the survivors
I direct my executors to pay over to my children
as soon after my death as they may think consistent
with the best interest of my estate or to each
child at that time of age, his or her part & to
those not of age to each his or her part as soon
as he or she, shall become of age, or to either or
any of them at the time of their marriage
though on that contingency they may be of
marriage.
Third     I give & bequeath unto my son James Gadsden
Dell the sum of one thousand dollars to be made
good to him by the balance of my heirs at the division
of my estate for the completion of his education
and professional studies.
Fourth    My will is that big Jim who has at all
times in all troubles stood by me, shall have the
elective either to remain a slave to some of my
children or else to pay executors the sum of one
hundred Dollars per year for four years (the
same to be equally divided among my children)
when he shall be free. And my Executors are
charged with the trust in the event of his
complying with this proposition to give to
him emancipation and I hereby charge my
my Estate to comply with the law So
