    A Codicil to my last Will & Testament
Whereas sice the execution by me of the foregoing
instrument it has pleased the almighty to call from
this earth my son William who departed this
life in the state of Alabama on the thirtieth day
of September last leaving a widdow and three
infant children now therefore, I declare it to be
my Will that their share which by this provisions
foregoing testimentory instrument would
have gone to my said son William had he been
living at the date of my death shall upon my
decease be vested in the possession and care 
of my trusty friends Bennett M. Dell Samuel
R. Piles & Charles L. Dell the said C.L. Dell
having been appointed by me in the place
of my son William deceased to be managed
by them and distributed together
with its increase equally to the said children
of my said deceased son, as thay shall
respectively reach the age of twenty one
years or shall marry, and should
any of them die before becoming entitled
to his or her distributive share
the survivor or survivors shall receive
such share equally and in Case
of the death of all before becoming en-
titled to receive under this codicil them
and in that case it is my will that the
whole shall pass to my three children
mow living or their legal
representatives
in the year of our our Lord       James Dell
