In the Name of God amen. I Mary Dawees of Alachua county
Widow, do make and publish this as my last Will & Testament hereby
revoking and making void all former Wills by me at an time heretofore
made~~~First I direct that my body decently buried in a manner
corresponding with my Situation in life, And I direct that all my debts
and funeral expenses be paid by my executors as hereafter prescribed
     And of my Worldly Estate which it has pleased God to entrust me with
I dispose of the same as follows- I direct that all my real Estate of which
I shall die seized or possessed shall be sold by my executors for its reasonable
value for Cash, or on such credit as to my said executors may seem advisable
taking care to secure payment for the same by good bonds & Mortgages or
as some other proper and Sufficient manner to ensure the full & punctual
payment Thereof, and to effectuate this my intention, I do hereby vest in
my executors full power and authority to dispose of my Real Estate in fee
simple or otherwise in as full and large a manner in every respect as I
could myself do if living, And I direct that the proceeds arising from
the Sale of my said Real Estate be appropriated first to the payment of my
funeral expenses, and my other debts if any, and then that the residue or
balance of that purchase money of my real Estate aforesaid be equally
divided between my Son Henry W. Maxey and my Daughter Louisa the 
Wife of Lewis A. Mattair of Columbia County- I give & bequeath to
my Said Son Henry W. Maxey my Slave Stephen Also I give & bequeath
to my Brothers Bennett Maxey Dell and Simeon Dell of Alachua and to
my Nephew Philip J. Dell son of Col. James Dell, herein after
named Executors by this my Will the following named Negroe
Slaves to Wit. Clarissa, Nell, Silvey, Bell, January, Leonida and
Julia, the last named being the children of said Clarissa and Jim
The Husband of said Clarissa together with the Issue of the said Slaves to
have and to hold to them the said Bennett M. Dell Simeon Dell & Philip
J. Dell and to the Survivor of them, and to the heirs executors or Admin-
istrators of such Survivors. To be held by them in trust, for the sole use 
benefit and behoof as follows- first for the use and behoof of my Said
daughter Louisa Mattair to for and during her natural life; And after the
death of my said Daughter Louisa Mattair then to and for the use of any
child of her Body then living, but should my said Daughter Louisa die
without any child or heir of her body living at the time then and in
that case, my Slaves above named are to be held in trust to and for
use and benefit of my said Son Henry W. Maxey during his life
