and after his death for the use of any child or children of the said
Henry W. Maxey lawfully begotten, and should my son Henry die
without legal heirs of his body, then the said foregoing Slaves shall
be equally divided between my Brothers and Sisters living at the
time, and the children of such of my Brothers and Sisters as may be
dead according to the Laws of the Land and in such Shares and
proportions as by said Laws are prescribed, after which the trust
herein before created shall cease, And it is my Will that my said Daughter
Louisa, shall have during her life, the possession use and avail of said
Slaves, without the same being in any manner or shape subject to the power
or control of her present or any future Husband She may have or in
any manner or form liable for the present or future debts of said present
or future Husbands or of the said Louisa, and when the happening
of either or any of the Contingences above provided for then the possession
shall accompany and go with the use and benefit of said slaves, but in no
case shall said Slaves or any of them be liable for the debts or Contracts of
those to whom said use shall
          And I do hereby make and ordain my said beloved
Brothers Bennet Maxey Dell and Simeon Dell and my beloved
Nephew Philip J. Dell Executors of this my last Will & Testament 
          In Witness Whereof I Mary Dewees the Testator in have
to this my Will written on one sheet of paper set my hand & Seal this third
day of January Eighteen hundred and thirty five

                      Codicil to my foregoing WILL
Should it please God to spare my life for a few years longer and bless
or trust me with any additional increase of property, I Will and
bequeath it, to be equally divided betwext my aforesaid Son and
Daughter, with all the instructions to be observed towards it as regards
further conveyance as is placed in the Conveyance of the property above
given and bequeathed. Witness my hand & Seal day & date above written
