Will of Washingto W. Geiger
In the name of God, Amen;
I Washington W. Geiger of Alachua
County and State of Florida, being
of sound mind do make and
declare this instrument my last
Will and Testament.
In the first place, I desire to be
plainly buried and with Masonic
ceremonies if the same be convenient
I desire my Executors to pay
all my just debts-this they are
to do out of any money that may
be on hand at my decease, also
out of the crop and likewise out
of the debts due to me.
Having two places at this time
I desire my Executors to sell one
of them, either the one where I now
live, or the one at the Levy or Oka
Willa Prarie in Putnam County
of their own discretion, and to apply
the money acuring therefore
to the payment of my debts to the
purchase of slaves or to invest-it
in any way they be happy for
the best interest of My Estate
I desire that my executors
keep together the remainer of all
my estate, namely one of My places
My Negroes, Stock of all kind, and
every thing else, and that they have
the same properly worked from
year to year, under a first rate
overseer, until My youngest child
becomes of age, unless they first
