State of Florida     We the undersigned
Alachua County       witnesses, do state
                     under oath, that on
                     or about the 28th day
of July 1856, Joseph B. Coker now decd. 
of the above named county & State, being
sick with fever, but in the possession of
sound mind, and fearing he might be ill
desired us to be witnesses, in case his
disease might prove fatal, to the disposition
he wished to make of his property; which
to the best of our recollection is as follows
to wit;
He wishes all of his property including
household & Kitchen furniture turned
over to Capt. Philip Dell, who he appointed
his Executor, directing that it all
should be sold & the procede and the
procedes appropriated first to the payment
of his just debts, and should any thing
then be left then that remainder to be
given to his wife, and child-He also desired
that if in the settlement of his business,
resort should be had to law
that Mr. George A. Dewson, should
have the charge of that business
he also states that the said Joseph B. 
Coker died on Tuesday morning at
4 Oclock A.M. August 12th 1856
Sworn to and subscribed before
me Samuel W. Burnett, a justice
of the peace in and for said County
of Alachua, State of Florida
the 13 August 1856~
