Fairfield District In the Court of Ordinary
personally appeared in Open Court Edward G.
Palmer Senr. one of the subscribing Witnesses to
the within Codicil being duly Sworne makes
oath that he saw William Jones Sign Seal
publish and declare the within instrument
of writing as and for his Codicil to
the said last will, and that the said William
Jones was then of sound and disposing mind
Memory and understanding to the best of this
deponents Knowledge and belief and that this
deponent with John R. Harrison and Ch****
H. Durham in the presence of each other
and in the presence of the said William Jones
and at his request did subscribe their
names as Witnesses to the due execution thereof
Sworn to before me Edward G. Palmer
this 25th Sept. 1854

and state aforesaid do hereby Certify that the
foregoing instrument of writing is a true Copy
of the last Will & testament and two Codicils
of William Jones deceased as on Record
and file in my Office also of the probate
thereof and of the qualification of the
Executor, Given under my hand and
Seal of Office this 24th November 1854
