Ordered that the actions of the president of
the Board in hiring out Negroes under sentence
of law, for fines and Costs of County be ratified
by the Board & that in the future when parties are
hired out, under the law that surety be deman
ded for the payment of the indebtedness.
Ordered that the Judge of Probate be and
he is hereby authorized to advertise in the New
Era, for all persons intitled to the appropriation
made by the last Legislature of the state to
present their claims to the Board at its meeting
on the 1st Monday in June next, to be by them
considered.
There being no further business the Board ad
journed to the 1st Monday in May next.
