This Indenture made this twenty fourth day of February in
the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & forty Six between
John J. Sanchez Commissioner of the Town of Newnansville for the Sale of
Town Lots duly apointed by the Judge of the County Court of
Alachua pursuant to an act of the Legistative Council of the Territory
of Florida to that effect of the first part and Samuel Russell
of Newnansville of the second part, Witnesseth That whereas the said
Samuel Russell has become the purchaser of the Town Lots hereinafter
Specified NOW KNOW YE that I the said John J. Sanchez commissioner
as aforesaid for and in consideration of the Sum of Forty one Dollars
lawful money to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknow-
ledged, Have granted bargained & sold and by these presents do grant
bargain and Sell unto the said Samuel Russell his heirs and assigns
forever All those cetain lots designated as lots Number Three & four
of Block Number Four of Range Number Five upon the plan of
the Town of Newnansville as Surveyed by Michael Garason Esquire
     Together with all & Singular the hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion
and reversions remainder & remainders rents Issues and profits thereof
To have and to hold the same unto the said Samuel Russell his
heirs and assigns as fully and absoltely as I the said John J.
Sanchez commissioner as aforesaid under the authority aforesaid might
could or ought to convey the same.
                                 In Witness whereof I the
said John J. Sanchez Commissioner as aforesaid have hereunto set
my hand & seal the day and year first above written
