Know all men by these presents that I Martha Tison
of Alachua County Florida in consideration of the Sum of Four
Hundred Dollars to me paid by Louis Aldrich of said County
the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby bargain
sell release forever quit claim unto the said Louis Aldrich
his heirs & assigns, all my right title and interest both at law
and in Equity in and to the tract or parcel of land situate
in said County designated in the official plat of the survey
of said Land by the United States of America as the West half,
of the North East Quarter and the East half of the North
West Quarter of Section Eleven (11) in Township Seven (7)
of Range Eighteen (18) containing in all Two Hundred & thirty
nine (239) acres and eighty two hundredths (82/100) of an acre which
said tracts or parcels of Land were purchased from the United
States by Simeon Dell of Alachua County on the nineteenth (19th)
day of October A.D. 1833 with all the privileges and appur-
tenances thereunto belonging....And for the above consideration
I do hereby assign to the said Louis Aldrich his Executors
and Administrators all claim and demand which I now or
may hereafter have upon the United States to refund the
money (and to pay interest thereon) paid by the said Simeon
Dell for the said tracts of land in case of a failure of
title thereto or for any other cause whatsoever.
