THIS INDENTURE made the fourth day of September
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty
one Between Don Fernando de la Maza Arredondo and
Son of Havanna in the Island of Cuba Merchants of the
first part and Elisha Huntington of the City and State of
New York Merchant of the second part Witnesseth
that the said parties of the first part for and in consid-
eration of the sum of Five Thousand Dollars lawful
money of the United States of America to them in hand
paid at or before the sealing and at delivery of these
presents by the said party of the second part the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged and the said parties of the
first part therewith fully satisfied contented and paid
have remised released and quit claimed and by these presents
do remise, release, and quit claim unto the said Party of
the second Part and to his heirs and assigns For each
Ten thousand acres of lands being an undivided part
of Thirty thousand acres, which thirty thousand acres of
Land is an undivided part of a large tract of Land |
