This Indenture made this tenth day of December in the year 
of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and forty nine, Between 
Benjamin A. Putnam and Helen K Putnam his wife, of the City of St. 
Augustine, County of St. Johns, State of Florida, of the first part 
and Henry Bauknight of Alachua County, and state aforesaid 
of the second part.  Witnesseth, that the parties of the first part for 
and in consideration of the Sum of Eight hundred Dollars to them in hand 
paid at and before the sending and delivery of these presents by 
the party of the second part and the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
    Have granted, bargained, sold and delivered conveyed 
and by this presents do bargain, sell, grant, and convey, unto 
the same party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns 
all that tract price and parcel of land designated as Section 
Thirty two (32) in Township Eleven (11) and Range Twenty (20) 
on the Map of Survey of the grant to F. M. Arredendo & son made 
by D. H. Barr Horace Merry & Henry Washinton containing 
or by said plat six hundred and forty acres, being part and 
parcels of land Arredendo grant, and purchased by the said 
Benj. A Putnam at the sale of said grant in February 1849, by Messers, 
Foward, Child and Payne, and which said sale has been confined 
by the Circuit Court for the Eastern Circuit of Florida, by the decree 
thereof at the June term 1849, at St. Augustine, together with all and 
singular the tenement, here detamen, and appurtenance, thereon and 
then to belonging or in any wise appertaining with the reversion 
and reversions remainder and remainder and ninty issues and 
proffits thereof and all the right litte interest property, and dower and 
right title and claim of dower of the said parties of first and each of 
them in and to the said premises or any part thereof.  To have and to 
hold the said described land and premises and every part 
thereof with the appartenances unto the said party of the second 
part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, and the said 
Benj. A Putnam for himself, his heirs and executors and adminstrators 
the afore discribed & granted land and premises against 
him the said Benj. A Putnam, his heirs, executors and administrators 
and all and every other person and person claiming through or under 
him unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs & assigns 
forever and warrant and  by these presents defend,
