Alachua County  } To all whom these presents shall come greeting
Know ye that I George M. Galpin of the State aforesaid for and
in Consideration of the Sum of Four hundred Dollars to me in hand
paid by W.W. Scott and John C. Richard Jr. at and before the Sealing and
delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained and Sold unto W.W. Scott and John C. Richard
Jr. and to their heirs and assigns forever, a certain Lot in the
Town of Newnansville designated as a portion of Lots No. 4 and 8
of Block No 4 Range No 2 Commencing at the South west corner
of No 8 and running North one hundred & fourteen feet, East
One hundred and Thirty feet, South One hundred and fourteen feet,
back to the place of beginning. Together with all and Singular the
hereditaments and appurtenances to the Same in anywise belonging
To have and to hold, the Said Lots and premises and
every part thereof with the appurtenances until the Said W.W. Scott and
John C. Richard Jr. their heirs and assigns forever and I the Said
George M. Galpin do bind myself my heirs administrators and
assigns to warrant and defend the Said property to the said
W.W. Scott and John C. Richard Jr their heirs and assigns forever
and for the Consideration aforesaid and for Divers other good and
valuable Consideration I H.E. Galpin do hereby release quit Claim
unto the Said W.W. Scott and John C. Richard Jr. their heirs and
assigns all my rights claims or possibility of Dower in on and
afore described premises.
          In witness whereof we the Said George W. Galpin
and H.E. Galpin have hereunto Set our hands and Seals this
9th day of July One Thousand Eight hundred and fifty

undersigned Clerk of the Circuit Court for the Counties of Alachua
& Levy William Dell who being duly sworn according to Law
Says that he Saw George M. Galpin Sign Seal and deliver
the foregoing instrument of writing for the purposes therein specified
and that he executed the same in the presence of the then
