                    This Indenture made this the Twentieth
of July in the year one Thousand Eight hundred and fifty betw=
een Charles A.M. Mitchel Special Master in Chancery residing
in Ocala Marion County State of Florida of the first part
and Richard W. Miller of Alachua County State of Florida
aforesaid of the second part. Whereas at the November Term of the
Circuit Court of the Eastern Circuit of Florida sitting in the
county of St. Johns in the year one Thousand Eight hundred
and forty nine it was among other things ordered adju=
=dged and decreed by the said court in a cause then defend=
=ing in Chancery between Peter Benet administrator of Francis
P. Sanchez deceased complainant and Benjamin A.
Putnam executor of Peter Mitchel deceased defendant that
the said Charles A.M. Mitchel should be appointed Special
Master in chancery in said cause and that among other
things in the said decree Specified the said Special Master
should be authorised and impowered to sell the real estate
of the said Peter Mitchel deceased included in the Tract kno=
wn as the Arredondo Grant or so much thereof as may be
saleable said sale to be made at some convenient point
within the said Grant after notice of such sale to be given by said
Master in newspapers published in Florida and elsewhere if
said Master shall deem said notice elsewhere expedient &
necessary for any period not less than sixty days and wher
=as afterwards at the same time of the said court for the year
one Thousand Eight hundred and fifty it was ordered adj=
udged and decreed in the said cause that the said decree
appointing the said Charles A.M. Mitchel Special Master as
aforesaid should be so modified and altered as to authorise
and impower the said Special Master to sell any part of the
said real estate in the said first mentioned decree contemplated
at private sale for cash or on reasonable credit provided that
no part of said real estate should be soled for a less price than
that for which it was purchased in by the said Benjamin
A. Putnam executor as aforesaid at the sale of the Arredondo
Grant in the month of February one Thousand Eight hundred &
forty nine at the Micanopy and that no sale should be held
valid o binding until the same shall have been reported
to this court or the Judge Thereof by the said Special Master
and shall have been confirmed and whereas afterwards
at the Same term of the said court the said Special
