Be it Known that I Sarah A. Sanchez of Alachua County
Florida Widow of Francis R. Sanchez late of said County deceased
in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars to me paid
by John J. Sanchez Administrator of the Estate of said Francis R. Sanchez
deceased for the hire of five Negro slaves for and during the year One
thousand Eight hundred and forty five for the purpose of cultivating
attending to and gathering the crop which the said Francis R. Sanchez
had a short time before his death planted, and in consideration of the
further sum of Twenty Six Dollars and seventy five cents paid to me
by the said John J. Sanchez Administrator as aforesaid with the understand-
ing and in consideration on his part that I would release unto him
as Administrator all my claims and demands upon the Estate and
property of the said deceased and dismiss my petition or proceeding
wherein and whereby the same may have been asserted in any of the
Courts of the State of Florida and any appeal or writ of error which
may have been taken or brought upon any decree which may have been
rendered with reference to any claim or demand of mine so asserted as
Widow as aforesaid, the receipt of both which amounts I hereby acknow-
ledge do hereby release, renounce, assign, and forever quit claim
unto the said John J. Sanchez as administrator for the use of said
Estate all my right, title, interest or claim, either at law or in equity in
or upon the property, lands, tenements and Estate of the said Francis R.
Sanchez and more particularly any claim of Dower or to a childs portion
and upon said Estate or upon any property upon which the said Francis
R. Sanchez at the time of his death had or the said John J. Sanchez as admin-
istrator as aforesaid her any claim or lien whatsoever. To have and to hold
any right title interest and claim so assigned as aforesaid unto the
said John J. Sanchez as administrator as aforesaid for the use of said
Estate free from any interference of mine forever. And I the said Sarah
A. Sanchez for myself my Executors and Administrators to dismiss
any each proceeding, petition, appeal or writ of Error as above
described whenas ***** by the said John J. Sanchez Administrator
or his successors in the administration of said Estate.
     In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed my seal at Newnansville this 19th day
of September A.D. 1846.
