Know all men by these presents that I Samuel Russell of Alachua
County Florida in consideration of five hundred and fifty dollars to me paid
by George M. Galpin of said County do hereby give grant bargain sell
and convey unto the said George M. Galpin his heirs and assigns the follow-
ing lots or parcels of land situate in the Town of Newnansville in said County
Known and described in the plat of said Town as lots number three (3)
and four (4) in Block number four (4) and lots Number one and
two (1&2) of Block number five (5) of Range Number Two (2) containing
two acres more or less together with all the privileges and appurtenances to
the said land in any wise appertaining and belonging to have and to hold
the said land and premises unto the said George M. Galpin his heirs and assigns
to his and their use and behoof forever
And the said Samuel Russell for myself my heirs executors and
administrators do covenant with the said George M. Galpin his heirs
and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted premises,
that they are free from all incumbranes, that I have good
right to sell and convey the same to the said George M. Galpin
as aforesaid and that I will and my heirs executors and administrators
Shall warrant and defend the same to the said George M. Galpin
his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims of all persons
And Mary Caroline wife of the said Samuel Russell in consideration
of one dollar to her paid the receipt whereof she doth hereby acknowledge
doth hereby release and relinquish to the said George M. Galpin
his heirs and assigns all her right and title of Dower in aforegranted
land and premises
In testimony whereof I the said Samuel Russell and Mary Caroline
his wife have hereunto set our hands and seals this 30th day of August

I Mary Caroline Russell do hereby acknowledge that the foregoing
relinquishment of Dower in the above deed contained was made by me
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint- apprehension
or fear of or from my husband the said Samuel Russell
