and understanding of the parties aforesaid that no part
of the above mentioned property shall at any time be subject
to His debts, contracts, or encumbrances of the said John
A. Kennedy the aforesaid marriage about to be had and
solemnized to the cautionary not with standing- In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day
