said Court of Chancery and also by virtue of the statute in
such case made and provided and in consideration of
the premises and of the sum of Eight Hundred dollars
paid by the said party of the second part to these presents
to the said Thomas C. Ellis Sheriff as aforesaid hath granted
bargained and sold aliened released conveyed and
confirmed unto the said party of the second part and to
his heirs and assigns forever All that certain tract and
parcel of three thousand five hundred acres of land being
a part and portion of an undivided tract of four thousand
acres ceded by the Spanish Government to one Don Francisco
Roman Sanchez and described in said cession as being
situated ten miles to the Westward of the Alachua road
leading to St. Marys and bounded on the North by the Santa fee
River and on the other sides by vacant lands and since sur-
veyed under the authority of the United States and lies in
Township six & seven South Range Eighteen and is known upon
the plat of said survey as the claim of Francis R. Sanchez
and also an undivided interest of fifteen hundred acres of
being parcel of another tract of land containing two thousand
acres ceded by the Spanish Government to one Don Jose Simeon
Sanchez and described in said cession as being situate on the
Santa Fee River and bounded on the West by lands of Don Francisco
Roman Sanchez and on the West by lands of Don Francisco
Roman Sanchez and on the other sides by said River and which
has been since surveyed under the authority of the United States
and lies in Township Six & seven South Range Eight and in the
County of Alachua and is Known upon the plat of said Survey
as the claim of Joseph S. Sanchez and others which said lands
are situate in said County of Alachua - together with all and
singular the rights & titles privileges, members hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining
To Have and to hold all and Singular the said premises
above mentioned and described and hereby granted and**
conveyed as intended so to be with the said party of the second
part to his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit
and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever.
