Know all men by these presents that I Light Townsend of 
Alachua County in the State of Florida in pursuance of a certain
decree in Chancery Pronounced by the Circuit Court of the East-
ern Circuit of Florida, Setting for the Counties of Alachua &
Levy, on the 4th day of May AD 1848 in a certain cause then pen-
ding in said Court wherein I the said Light Townsend was com-
plainant and Joseph G.Bell and Etals were Defendants by which
decree I am ordered to execute and deliver to William Townsend
Guardian of Elizabeth Sarah and Margaret Townsend infant heirs
of James L.Townsend Deceased in trust for said heirs a quit 
claim deed to certain tracts of land situate and lying in said 
County of Alachua on the South and East Side of a certain Branch
or Stream which intersects a portion of Said tract of land Known
as Townsends Branch; do hereby remise, release and forever quit
claim unto the Said William Townsend guardian as aforesaid in
trust for said infant heirs, So much of the tract or parcels of 
land Situate in Said County, and described in the Plat of the
Survey of the Same by the United States of America as the East
half of the North East quarter, and the East half of the South
East quarter, and the South East quarter of the South west 
quarter of Section twenty one (21) and the North East quarter of
Section twenty Eight (28) and the west half of the North west
quarter and the west half of the South west quarter of Section
twenty two (22) and the west half of the North West quarter and
West half of the South East quarter of Section twenty seven (27)
in Township Seven (7) and Range Eighteen (18) of the district of
land Subject to Survey at Newnansville as is Situate and lying
on the South and East Sides of Said Branch or Stream. To have 
and to hold said land on the South and East Side of Said Branch
or Stream free from any claim of mine unto the Said William 
Townsend guardian as aforesaid in trust as aforesaid forever
