     Know all men by these present that I Light Townsend of 
Alachua County Florida, for and in consideration of the natural
love and effection which I have with my Daughter Margaret Crich-
ton wife of John P. Crichton of said County have given and de-
livered and by these presents do give and deliver unto the said
Margaret Crichton the following Slaves to wit; Kate a woman age
about 22 years and her child Richard age about 2 years, also a
Negro girl named Diana age about 12 years, and also a Negro man
named John age about 20 years, together with all the future 
issue and increase of said Slaves, to have and to hold the said
Slaves with their future issue and increase unto the Sole and
Seperate use of the Said Margaret Crichton free from the control
interferance disposal or debts of the said John P.Crichton her 
husband for and during the time of the natural life of her the
Said Martaret Crichton, and at her death I do hereby give the
remainder in said Slaves and their future issue and increase 
and the same Shall go to the child or Children of the said Mar-
garet Crichton living at the time of her death, to be divided
equally among Said Children, if there be more than one Child
