State of Georgia Be it Known, that on this fourth day of
City of Savannah August, in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and forty eight, before me Robert M.
Charlton, a commissioner of the State of Florida, duly
appointed and Sworn, and residing and practicing in the City of
Savannah, in the State of Georgia, aforesaid, Personally came
George H. Johnston and Emily G. his wife, well known to
me to be the identical persons, who executed the foregoing
Conveyance to George J. Kolloch, and they, the Said George H. and
Emily G. did then and there acknowledge to me that
they had respectively execute the same for the purposes therein
mentioned, And immediately afterwards, the George H. being
withdrawn, the said Emily G. seperately and apart from her
Said husband did sign and seal the annexed renunciation of Dower,
and did acknowledge that the Same was done by her freely
and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint, appre-
hension or fear of or from her Said husband, In Witness
whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and official Seal,
on the day and year above mentioned

This Indenture made the Second day of October, in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty eight,
Between John J. Sanchez Commissioner of the Town of
Newnansville, for the Sale of Town lots, duly appointed by
Judge of the County Court of Alachua County,
permant* to an act of the legislative counsel of the Territory
of Florida to that effect, of the first part, And James Hague of
Newnansville of the Second part, Witnesseth that whereas the
Said James Hague has become the purchaser of the Town
lots herein after Specified Now Know ye, that I the Said
John J. Sanchez, Commissioner as aforesaid, for and in consid-
eration of the sum of one hundred and ten dollars and fifty cents |
