Know all men by these presents, that I Samuel Gieger of Alachua
County in the State of Florida, for and in consideration of the
natural love and effection which I have and bear unto Margery
Ann Tucker, wife of Elijah Tucker of Said County have
given and delivered, and by these presents do give and deliver
unto the Said Margery Tucker One negro woman Salve,
named Lucy now in the possession of the Said Margery Ann
Tucker Said negro Slave aged about 40 year, also a Stock
of Cattle now in the County of Alachua, Say thirty head
more or less, marked, Strait Spilt and uper bit in one ear,
Strait Split in the other, branded T, and figure 9 and one
mare and Colt, to have and to hold Said property above given
and delivered with its future increases unto the Said Margery
Ann Tucker to her Sole and seperate use free from and
independent of the control and debts of her said husband
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and Seal this 13th day of December 1848
