Alachua County Know all men by these presents, that I
Moriah Floyd of Alachua County in said State for and in
consideration of the natural love and Effection which I have and
bear unto my Son Raford M. Floyd, of Said State and County, and
for the love and Effection which I have for the lawful heirs of his
body, and for and in consideration of the Sum of one dollar to me
in hand paid, at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents,
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained,
and by these presents, do freely give, grant, and convey, unto him,
my said Son Raford M. Floyd, and the lawful heirs of his body, the
following described property to wit; one negro woman named Lucy
aged about Eighteen years, and ten cows and calves, together with their
future issue and increase which Said property I do hereby warrant
and forever defend against myself, my heirs, Executors, administrators
and assigns, To have and to hold the above named property as
aforesaid, and I the Said Moriah Floyd, for my self, my heirs,
Executors, administrators and assigns, Shall and will warrant, and
forever defend, the given and granted property as aforesaid, against
all and every other person or persons whomsoever, unto him (my said
Son Raford M. Floyd, and the lawful heirs of his body, and to
their heirs and assigns forever in fee Simple
