County of Alachua } Know all men by these presents that
I John S. Taylor of Hernando County, State aforesaid in
consideration of the sum of seven hundred dollars good and
lawful money of the United States, to me paid by Isaac
J. Carter of the County of Alachua and State aforesaid,
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby give, grant
bargain, sell, and convey unto the said Isaac J. Carter
his heirs and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land situate
lying and being in the County of Alachua and State
aforesaid, and known on the official platts as the E1/2
SE qr of Sect No 13 T.8 R.18. S&E and the W1/2 of the SW qr
of Sect No 18. T.8 R.19 S&E and the E1/2 of the SW qr and
the W1/2 of the SE qr of Sect 18 T.8 R.19 S&E containing
three hundred acres more or less with all the privileges and
appurtenances there unto belonging. To have and to hold
the aforegranted premises to the said Isaac J. Carter and
his heirs and assigns in fee simple for ever, and I the said
John S. Taylor, for my self, and my heirs, Executors and
Administrators do covenant with the said Isaac J. Carter, his
heirs and assigns, that I am lawfully seized in fee of the
aforesaid premises, that they are free from all incumbrances,
that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said
Isaac J. Carter as aforesaid and that I will, and my heirs,
Executors and Administrators, shall warrant and defend the 
same to the said Isaac J. Carter, and his heirs and assigns
forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all 
persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof I have set my hand
and seal, this 2d day of Feby A.D. 1852

Alachua County   } Before the subscriber Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Alachua County Eastern Circuit of Florida personally
came George L. Brown one of the subscribing witnesses witnesses to
the foregoing Deed of conveyance who be duly sworn according to
law says that he saw John S. Taylor sign seal and deliver
the same for the purposes therein mentioned, and that he signed
the same as a witness.
