Alachua County   } This Indenture made the 30th day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five, Between Isaac J. Carter of Alachua County 
State of Florida, and Sarah Ann his wife parties of the first
part, and Simeon J. Sanchez and Gabril S. Sanchez of
the same County and State, parties of the second part
Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of twenty two hundred
dollars good and lawful money of the United States to
them in hand paid by the said parties of the second
part, at and before the sealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath
granted, bargained, sold, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these
presents, doth grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm
with the said parties of the second part, their heirs and 
assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying
and being in the County of Alachua and State aforesaid
and known on the official plats, as the East half of the
South East Quarter of Section thirteen Township eight
Range eighteen south and East and the West half of the south
west Quarter, of section eighteen, Township eight, Range
nineteen South and East and the East half of the South
West quarter, and the west half of the south east quarter
of section eighteen, Township eight, Range nineteen, south
and East, containing three hundred acres more or less, together
with all and singular the privileges, hereditaments and appurte=
=nances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining
To have and to hold the aforegranted premises to the
said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns in fee
simple for ever, and the said Isaac J. Carter, for my=
=self my heirs, Executors, and Administrators, do covenant
and agree to, and with the said parties of the second part,
their heirs and assigns, that I am lawfully seized of a
good and indefeasible estate of inheritance in the aforegranted
premises, that are free from all incumbrances, that I have good
right to sell and convey the same to the said parties of the
second part as aforesaid, and that I will, and my heirs, Execu=
=tors and Administrators, shall warrant, and by these presents
forever defend the same to the said parties of the second part
their heirs and assigns, against the lawful claims and 
demands of all persons whatsoever.
      In testimony whereof, the said parties of the first part
have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year first
above written
