years of age, Jenny a woman about 41 years old, Hampton
a boy about 18 years old, Arabella a girl about 15 years
old, Aranetta a girl about 7 years old, Paralee a woman
about 22 years old, Isaac a boy about 18 years old,
To have and to hold, the Said bargained property to her
the Said Narcissa Boykin, Executrix as aforesaid, her heirs,
Executors and Administrators forever, And I the Said Samuel
Boykin for my self, my heirs, Executors and administrators,
the Said bargained property, unto the Said Narcissa Executrix
as aforesaid, her heirs and assigns, against me, my heirs,
Executors and administrators, and against all and every
other person or persons whatsoever, Shall and will warrant,
and defend by these presents, Provided nevertheless, that if
the Said Samuel Boykin his heirs and assigns Shall, and
do well & truly pay or cause to e paid to Said Narcissa
Boykin, Executrix as aforesaid, her heirs and assigns, the
Said Sum of Money in Said promissory note Specified with
lawful interest thereon, according to the tenor and effect
thereof, then & from thenceforth, as well the mortgage
or the right to the property hereby conveyed, as the Said
promissory note, Shall cease, determine & be void to all intents
and purposes.   In testimony the Samuel Boykin
hath hereunto Set his hand & Seal, this the fourth day of
April 1855.

                   Personally appeared before me Samuel
Boykin the grantor in the within Deed of Mortgage, who is
well known to me as the person who executed the Said deed, and
I hereby certify that the Said Samuel Boykin acknowledged to
me that he executed the Said Deed of Mortgage for the purposes therein
named, in presence of the witnesses whose names are affixed thereto,
this 4th April 1855, at Columbus Ga
