Justice of the peace in & for the County aforesaid, John D. Hennis
to me well known and acknowledged that he executed the foregoing
instrument of writing for the purposes therein set forth.
   As witness my hand and seal this 12th day of April A.D. 1855

  This Indenture this 27th Nov 1854, Between Daniel
K. Hall of Alachua County East Florida, and Sarah his wife
parties of the first part and Joseph Vaugn of Fairfield
District So Ca party of the second part, Witnesseth, that
the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of
the sum of twenty five hundred dollars lawful money to them
in hand paid by the said party of the second part, at the delivery of
these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and
the said party of the second part his heirs, Executors and Adminis=
=tratros, for ever released and discharged from the same by these
presents, Hath have granted, bargained, sold aliened, remised,
released, con conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant,
bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, convey and confirm unto the
said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns, for
ever, all that section of land number twelve of Township number
ten Range No 21 of the Arredondo Grant of Alachua Ct
Fla: together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise apper=
=taining thereto, and also all the Estate right, title, interest,
Dower and right of Dower, property, possession, claim and
demand whatsoever as well in law as in Equity of the said
party of the first part, of, in, and to the same, and every part
and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances, To have and to hold
the above granted, bargained, and described premises, with the
appurtenances unto the said party of the second part, his heirs
and assigns to his and their own proper use, benefit, and
behoof forever, in fee simple, and the said Daniel K. Hall
and wife for themselves, their heirs, Executors and Administrators,
will and doth by these presents warrant and forever defend the
the title of said land unto the said Joseph Vaugn, his heirs
and assigns. In witness whereof, the said Daniel K. Hall
& wife Sarah have hereunto set their hands and seal this
