Alachua County   } Personally appeared before me the undersigned
a Justice of the peace in and for the County aforesaid, John S.
Livingston who acknowledged that he executed the foregoing
Indenture for the purposes therein set forth, Witness my hand on
the day and year first above written
                                         John H. Cosby J.P.

Know all men be this presents that I Susan Livingston wife of
the within named John S. Livingston do hereby relinquish my right
of Dower in the certain lot or parcel of Land conveyed by the fore-
=going Indenture to Elias Bauknight
            Witness my hand seal this ninth day of

Know all men by these presents that I Susan Livingston do
hereby acknowledge that the above relinquishment of Dower
have made on my part, freely voluntarily and without fear,
apprehension or compulsion of or from my husband John S. Livingston
Witness my hand and seal this ninth day of December AD

=dgement of Dower was made by Susan Livingston separate
and apart from her husband.

State of Florida  } This Indenture made and entered into on
County of Alachua } the third day of January in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five between
Elias Bauknight and Jane E. Bauknight his wife, parties of
the first part and Robert E. Johnston party of the second part
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred
and fifty Dollars to the parties of the first part in hand paid at the time of
signing and sealing this indenture by the party of the second part, the
receipt where of is hereby acknowledged. The parties of the first part
hath bargained and sold and doth hereby bargain and sell unto the
party of the second part, his heirs executors and assigns in fee simple
for ever all that Lot or parcell of land known and described as follows
to wit, commencing at the north west corner of Hunters Blacksmith
shop and runing thence south along the Eastern inclosure of said lot
one hundred and fifty feet to a pine stake thence west one hundred
and Eighty five feet to a publick square thence north along the
western enclosure of said Lot one hundred and fifty feet, thence
East one hundred and eighty five feet to the place of beginning
and containing three fifths of an acre more or less being part
