This Indenture made the         day of            in the
year one thousand Eight hundred and fifty four, Between
Benjamin Stephens Jr of the City, County and State of New
York, and Hannah Maria, his wife, (said Hannah being the Daughter
of Ichabod Prall late of said City Deceased,) parties of the first part,
and William T. Prall of said City, party of the second part,
Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, for and in con=
=sideration of the sum of one dollar lawful money of the United
States of America, to them in hand paid by the said party of
the second the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of
these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have remised
released, and quit claimed, and by these presents do remise, release,
and quit claim, unto the said party of the second part, and to
his heirs and assigns for ever, all their right, title, interest and estate
in and to the following lands & premises, to, wit, all that certain
piece or parcel of land situated in the County of             in the
                                                    number
State of Florida, and known and described as Section^twenty three
(23) in Township number ten (10) in Range eighteen (18) of the
Arredondo Grant, so called, as designated on the map of said
grant made by messrs Burr and Washington in 1846, and contain
=ing six hundred and forty acres of land, more or less; Together with
all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appurtaining and the reversion
and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits
thereof, And also all the estate, right, title, interest, Dower, right
of Dower, property, possession, claim and demand whatsoever, as
well in law as in Equity, of the said parties of the first part, of, in,
or to the above described premises, and every part and parcel thereof
with the appurtenances, To have and to hold the all and singular the
above mentioned and described premises, together with the appurtenances
unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns for ever

a Commissioner in said State, to take Depositions, affidavits,
acknowledgments of Deeds, powers of attorney &c &c, to be
used or recorded in the State of Florida, duly commissioned
and qualified, do hereby certify and make known, that on
the twelfth day of February 1855, before me personally app
appeared the withing named Benjamin Stephens Jr, and
Hannah Maria his wife, who severally acknowledged that they
signed sealed and delivered the within Instrument on the day
and year therein mentioned as their act and Deed, and
the said Hannah Maria further acknowledged on a private
examination apart from her Husband, that she signed
and delivered the same as her voluntary act and Deed
