This Indenture made this twenty fifth day of April A.D. eighteen
hundred and fifty five, Between Lemuel Wilson of Alachua County
Florida, of the first part, and George R. Fairbanks of St Johns
County Florida, party of the second part, Witnesseth, That the
said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum of four
hundred dollars, to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged. Hath bargained & sold, and by these presents doth
grant & convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs &
assigns for ever, all those certain Tracts of land situate & being
in the County of Alachua State of Florida, to wit: Lot No 14
of Section nineteen, of Township seven, of Range twenty also North
half of Lot No one, Section thirty, also south half of south west
quarter of section twenty, also south west quarter of south east
quarter of section twenty, also North half of North west quarter
of section twenty nine; also North west quarter of North east
quarter, and the south west quarter of North East quarter
of Section twenty nine, all in Township Seven & Range twenty,
aforesaid, and containing four hundred acres more or less, all
entered at the land office of the United States, at Newnansville Florida,
with the rights and appurtenances to the same belonging, and all the right,
title, interest, and claim of the said party of the said party of the first
part thereto; or to any part or parcel thereof. To have and to
hold the same to the said party of the second part, his heirs and
assigns for ever, In Witness the said party of the first part
has hereto subscribed his name and affixed his seal the day and
year first above written.

Alachua County ss personally appeared before me this 26th day of
April A.D. 1855, Lemuel Wilson to me well known, & acknowledged that he had
executed the foregoing Indenture for the purposes therein set forth

  Know all men by these presents that I Rafila S.M. Wilson wife of
Lemuel Wilson the granter within named, in consideration of the
sum of one dollar to me in hand paid by Geo R. Fairbanks the
grantee, do hereby relinquish & renounce, and release to the said
Fairbanks all right, claim & Equity of Dower of, in and to the within
described premises, and do hereby declare that this relinquishment &
renunciation is made freely and voluntarily, and without constraint,
fear or apprehension of, or from my said Husband.
  In witness whereof, I have hereto set placed my hand & seal this 26th
day of April A.D. 1855

do hereby certify that the above relinquishment & renunciation was
executed in my presence, separate & apart from her said Husband and
