This Indenture made the twenty seventh day of 
April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five, Between Darlin C. Prescott of Duval
County, State of Florida; of the first part & John
             trading under the name & firm of Boston & Villalonga
Boston & John L. Villalonga^of Savannah Chatham
County State of Georgia, of the second part, Witnesseth
that the said party of the first part, in consideration of
the sum of three thousand six hundred and sixty six
Dollars & ninety eight cents, lawful money of the United
States, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, remised
released, conveyed & confirmed, & by these presents, doth grant
bargain, sell, alien, release, remise, convey & confirm, unto
the said parties of the second part, & to their heirs & assigns
forever certain lots or parcels of land lying & being
situate in Alachua County & in Duval County in the
State of Florida & designated as follows: viz: Lots No
three (3) four (4) five (5) of Section no thirteen (13) & lots
no two (2) & nine (9) in the same section & Lots No fifteen (15)
of Section no eighteen (18) all in Township No nine (9) south
of Range No twenty two (22) East except lot No fifteen
15 in Section No 18 which is in township 9 Range 23
containing about two hundred an seven acres of land
and also the North west quarter of South west quarter
of Section No thirty five (35) in Township No four (4) south
of Range No twenty three (23) East, containing about forty acres
also the north half of the north east quarter of section No
twenty four (24) in Township no nine (9) south, & Range
twenty two (22) East, containing eighty acres, also the east
half of the south east quarter, and south west quarter
of South east quarter of section no twenty seven (27)
& the East half of the North East quarter & the North
west quarter of the North East quarter of section no thirty
four (34) in Township No four (4) south & Range no twenty
three (23) East, containing about two hundred and forty acres
of land, the same more or less, together with all &
singular the tenements, hereditaments & appurtenances
thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining &
also all the estate, right, title, interest, claim & demand
whatsoever, as well in law as in Equity of the said party
of the first part of, in & to the same, To have & to
hold the above granted & described premises, with the
appurtenances, unto the said parties of the second part
their heirs & assigns, to their own proper use, benefit &
behoof, for ever, provided always (and these presents are
upon this condition that if the party of the first part
shall well & truly pay his certain promissory note bearing
even date herewith, given to the said parties of the
second part, for the sum of three thousand six hundred
& sixty six dollars & ninety eight cents, lawful money
as aforesaid, according to the tenor of said note, then these
presents shall become void & the estate hereby granted
shall cease & utterly determine.
