Alachua County   } This Indenture made this fourth day of October
in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty four, Between
Thadius A. McDonnell and Donald McDonnell partners who
have been trading under the name Style and firm of T.A. McDonnell
and Brother of the first part, and John F. McDonnell of the second 
part, Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, for and in
consideration of the sum of eight hundred which said sum of eight
hundred dollars is due and owing by the said parties of the first part
to the said party of the second part, do assign, transfer release, set over,
convey and confirm enfeof, and by these presents have assigned transferred
released, set over, conveyed and enfeofed unto the sai said party of the 
second part, his heirs and assigns, a certain lot or tract of land, lying
and being on the public Square in the Ville of Micanopy in the
County of Alachua aforesaid, known as the location of the store of
the said parties of the first part, together with all and singular the
appurtenances, rents, issues, and profits unto the same in any way apper=
=taining and belonging. To have and to hold the said tract of land
above mentioned with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second 
part, his heirs and assigns forever, and the said parties of the first
part, their heirs, Executors, and administrators, the said tract of land
above mentioned, and hereby granted unto the said party of the first
part, his heirs and assigns, against all and every person and persons
whatsoever, claiming or to claim, by through or under the said
parties of the first part, their heirs, Executors, or administrators, or
any or either of them, will warrant and defend forever by these
presents. In Witness Whereof, the said parties of the first
part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year
first above written.

T.A. McDonnell & D. McDonnell and acknowledged that
