In the Clerks office of Amherst County Court on the
29th day of June 1843, this Indenture was acknowledged by
Edwin H. Jordan, and admitted to Record as to him and was
proved by the oaths of Hugh Brown and William J. Patrick,
two Subscribing witnesses thereto as to Edmand Penn and
Jane Penn other parties thereto, and layed by for further
proof as to them, and in Said Clerks office on the 3rd day
of July 1843, further proved by the oath of Robert Brown
