County of Alachua } I John H. May of the State of Florida
and County of Alachua, have this day covenanted and agreed
with my wife Susan May, that She Shall, and may transact all
her own business, that is to Say that She may buy Sell transfer
and convey all property real or personall of which She is now
possessed, or may hereafter acquire, freely, fully, and independently
as fully and freely, as though we the said John H. May and
Susan May had never been married, and I hereby freely and fully
relinquish all my right title and interest to all and any property
real or personal that She may Sell or convey during her natural
life, And I further covenant and agree with my Said wife
Susan May for and in consideration of the natural love and
affection which I bear for her, that I will and do hereby make
and constitute her a full and proper free dealer to all intents
and purposes in Law and Equity, In witness whereof, I
hereunto Set my hand and affix my seal on this 7th day
of April A.D. 1855
