Alachua County   } Be it known to all whom there may concern,
that I Maria Sourbray widow of the first part, and Sarah
Hague and Amanda Hague of the Second part all of the Town
of Newnansville, and County and State aforesaid, Witnesseth,
that the Said Maria Sourbray for and in consideration of the
natural affection She the Said Maria Sourbray has between her
two Daughters the Said Sarah and Amanda Hague, formerly
Sarah and Amanda Lipsy, and also the further consideration
of the Sum of five dollars lawful money of the United States
to me in hand paid at or before the delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, that the Said party of
the first part, hath given, granted, bargained, and Sold, and
by these presents do give, grant, bargain and Sell unto the
Said Sarah and Amanda Hague a certain Negro woman
known by the name of Amelia, and her child about four months
old named Nancy, and her further increase which She the
Said Amelia may bear. To have and to hold the Said
bargained property to their and each of their own proper use benefit
and behoof forever. And it is on these conditions, that the Said Maria
Sourbray Shall have the benefit of the labor and use of the said bargained
property during her natural life, the same as if this transfer had
not been made, but immediately after the death of the Said Maria
Sourbray, to be the property of the Said Sarah Hague and Amanda
Hague, and I do, for myself, my heirs, Executors, Administrators
and assigns, agree to defend warrant and defend the Sale of the said
property hereby sold, forever against all and every person and persons
whomsoever.  In Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my
hand and Seal, this the 19th day of December one thousand eight
hundred and fifty four

  Before the Subscriber Clerk of the Circuit Court
of Alachua County, Eastern Circuit of the State
of Florida, personally came Maria Sourbray to
me well known, and acknowledged that she had 
executed the foregoing instrument of writing for the
purposes therein mentioned
