of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five, Between George B. Payne and Horace Merry
of Alachua County and State aforesaid of the first part
and James T. Thomas of the State and County aforesaid of
the Second part, Witnesseth, That, for and in consid=
=eration of the Sum of Six Thousand Dollars, to them
in hand paid, at and before the sealing and delivery
hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the
parties of the first part, hath bargained, Sold, given,
granted and conveyed, and by these presents doth So bargain
Sell, give, grant and convey, unto the party of the Second
part, all that certain hereditament, plantation or
tract of land Situate in the County of Alachua and
State aforesaid, and known and described as follows,
