Know all men by these presents, that I Mary A. Hart,
wife of the within named William B. Hart, do hereby relinquish
my right of Dower, in the certain plantation or parcel of
Land conveyed by the foregoing Indenture to George B. Payne
and Horace Merry      Witness my hand and Seal this 22d

County of Alachua }  This Indenture made on this 7th day
of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five, Between George B. Payne and Horace Merry
of Alachua County and State aforesaid of the first part
and James T. Thomas of the State and County aforesaid of
the Second part, Witnesseth, That, for and in consid=
=eration of the Sum of Six Thousand Dollars, to them
in hand paid, at and before the sealing and delivery
hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the
parties of the first part, hath bargained, Sold, given,
granted and conveyed, and by these presents doth So bargain
Sell, give, grant and convey, unto the party of the Second
part, all that certain hereditament, plantation or
tract of land Situate in the County of Alachua and
State aforesaid, and known and described as follows,
That is to Say, Section nine, and the west half of Section
Sixteen, of Township Ten, South of Range twenty
East, And containing one thousand and forty Seven and
a half acres, more or less, and represented on the Map of
the Arredondo Grant, made by Messrs Burr and
Washington, as above described, To have and to
hold the aforegranted premises, with all and Singular
