County of Alachua } This Indenture made the twenty
ninth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and fifty four. Between William B. Hart
and Mary A. Hart his wife, of the first part, and Daniel
C. Hart of the second part, Witnesseth, that for and in
consideration of the sum of two hundred and four dollars to 
them in hand paid, at the time of the signing and delivery of
these present, Indenture the receipt whereof is hereby acknow=
=ledged, the parties of the first part hath bargained and sold
and doth hereby bargain and sell, to the said party of the 
second part, his heirs and assigns, all that certain parcel or tract
of land known and described as East half of section nine
Township Ten, Range twenty of what is known as the Arredondo
Grant, to have and to hold the said parcel or tract of land
together with all and singular the rights, ways, improvements and appur
=tenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining to the
party of the second part, his heirs, Executors and administrators
in fee simple forever, to their only proper use and behoof, and
the said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs Executors
and administrators do covenant with the said party of the second
part, that they are lawfully seized in fee of the above granted 
parcel or tract of land, and that it is free from all incumbrances
that they have good right to sell and convey the same to the said
party of the second part, and that they will, and that their
heirs, Executors and administrators shall warrant and defend
the same to the said party of the second part, his heirs,
Executors and assigns forever, against the lawful demands of all
persons. In testimony whereof the said parties of the first
part have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals
on the day and year first above mentioned in presence of

                 Personally appeared before me a Justice of 
the peace in and for the County aforesaid, John Mably who
being duly sworn says that he saw the above indenture signed
sealed and delivered for the purposes therein contained. Sworn to 
and Subscribed this twenty ninth day of December A.D. 1854

                 I hereby certify that I have examined
Mary A. Hart separate and apart from her Husband William
B. Hart and she says that she signed and sealed the above
Indenture of her own free will and accord, and without any con=
=straint or compulsion on the part of her aforesaid Husband for the purpose
therein contained. Witness my hand and seal this 29th day of December
