County of Alachua      This Indenture made the 17 seventeenth
day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five, Between Charles L. Wilson and his wife Mary
C. Wilson of the first part and James C. Standly of the
Second part all of the State and County aforesaid, Witnesseth,
that the said parties of the first part, for and in consider-
ation of the sum of two thousand dollars ($2000) lawful
money, to them in hand paid at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents, doth grant, bargain, sell, and convey
with the said party of the second part, the following property, to wit;
a plantian a mile and a half from the Town of
Newnansville, County and State aforesaid, and designated by the
United States Survey as the South East quarter, and the South
East quarter of the South West quarter, the north half
of Lot No. 3. quarter of section ***. Township eight South
of Range 18. East, and the South half of lot No. 4. quarter
of Section Six. Township eight, South of Range 19 East,
and the north East quarter of the north East quarter
of Section twelve, Township eight, South Range 18 East,
containing three hundred and fifty seven and 78/100 acres
as per return made by the U.S. Survey to the Land office at
Newnansville Florida, together with the appurtenances and
hereditaments thereunto belonging or in any wise apper-
taining To have and to hold to him the said party of
the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, And the said
parties of the first part, their heirs and assigns, do covenant
and agree to and with the party of the second part his heirs
and assigns, that at the time of delivery hereof, they the
said parties of the first part are the true and lawful owners
