assurances for the more affectual Conveying of the said premises with
the appurtenances as may be reasonably required of him or them and
that I the said John C. Hague will warrant and defend the said
premises with the appurtenances unto the said W.M. Kennady
his heirs and assigns forever

Madison County   } This Indenture made on the 22nd
day of March in the year one thousand eight hundred
and fifty five between William Pearce of the County 
& State aforesaid of the one part and William P.
Hooker of Hillsboro County Florida of the other
part, Witnesseth, that for the sum of one hundred
& fifty dollars to him in hand paid, that the said
William Pearce hath granted, bargained, sold, released
& confirmed & by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell,
release & confirm, unto the said William P. Hooker,
his heirs & assigns, a certain parcel of land known as
Fractional Section Seven (7) Township Ten (10) of Range
Twenty (22) containing five hundred and fifty five
more or less Situate and being in Alachua County
State of Florida. To have and to hold said tract or
parcel of land, to the said William P. Hooker, his heirs
and assigns, to his & their use & behoof forever, the said
William Pearce for himself, his heirs, Executors & admin=
=istrators doth covenant with the said William P. Hooker
his heirs & assigns, that he is lawfully secured in
fee of the above granted premises, that he will & his heirs
Executors & administrators, shall warrant & defend the
same unto the said William P. Hooker his heirs and
assigns, against the lawful demand of all persons
forever In Witness whereof we the contracting
parties have severally hereunto set our hands & seals
