This Indenture made the eighth day of May in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five, between
Christopher L. Fribelie and Julia A. Fribelie his wife of
the first part, and Frances L. Freyer of the second part
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of eight
hundred dollars to the said parties of the first part paid
at and before the signing, sealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof the said parties of the first
part do hereby acknowledge hath bargained, sold, given
granted and conveyed and do by these presents, bargain
sell, give, grant and convey unto the said party of the
second part, his heirs and assigns, all the estate, rights
and title to the following described tract or parcel of land
lying and being situate in the Arredondo Grant in the
State of Florida, in Section twenty six, in township eleven
of Range Twenty, and containing one hundred and six acres
and eleven hundredths of an acre, the said described premises
being more particularly described as follows, that is to say
beginning on the west boundary at a lightwood post in
the line of G.A. Paynes tract of 60 77/100 acres Sixteen chains and
forty links North of the south west corner of said Paynes
said piece of land whence bears a lightwood tree P S 50 1/2
E twelve links and a pine C.S. 34 1/4 W 37 links, and a
pine F.N. 25 and W six links, thence west fifteen chains
and seventy four links to a lightwood post F.C. in a pond
on the west boundary at the Section whence bears a Pine
C.S. 38 5/9 E 30 links, and a pine F.N. 71 3/4 E thirty seven
links, said line is the boundary of a piece of land containing
35 85/100 allotted to James Child, and the south boundary of
this lot of land containing eighteen acres and forty four
hundredths assigned to the Christopher L. Fribelie, and
lying in the N.W. corner of the grant, also in addition
to the said 18 44/100 acres in the North west part of the section
there is also assigned and hereby conveyed for the purpose of
describing the premises which is subject to the exceptions
herein after mentioned a certain lot on the south end of the
new Square including the ale store of the said Fribelie, and con=
=taining eighty three hundredths of an acre, and bounded to east
by John S. Livingston's lot on the south by Acre Honeywell
lot, on the East by George B. Payne's lot on the south by
James Child lot on the west and also all that piece
situate and lying in the South East part of the section
bounded on the south by the lots of Aren Honeywell and
John S. Livingston on the west the by the lot George B.
Payne containing eighty six acres and 84/100 hundredths of
an acre, making in all the number of acres aforesaid
(106 11/100) Together with all and singular other the houses
out houses, buildings, Barns, Stables, ways, woods
waters, water courses, rights liberties, privileges, hereditaments
and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in
any wise appertaining, except so much of the above
described premises, appurtenances and lands, houses &c
as is hereafter described that is to say two certain parcels |
