Know all men by these presents, that I James Kennard
of the County of Alachua and State of Florida, for
for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and
fifty dollars to me in hand paid by Samuel B. McLin,
of said County and State, at and before the sealing
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof I do
hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold, convey
conveyed, aliened, remised, released and confirmed, and do
by these presents grant, bargain, sell, convey, alien
remise, release, convey and confirm unto the said Samuel
B. McLin, the following described lot or parcel of land,
lying and situate in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida, and known and described as follows, to wit;
in Section eleven (11) Township 8, south Range 18 East
and bounded as follows, to wit:  on the East, North and south
by lands owned by James Pendarvis, and on the west by
Margaret Blanton, with all the appurtenances, and all the
claim, right, title, interest and demand of me the said James
Kennard in and to the premises. To have and to hold,
the same with the appurtenances, unto the said Samuel B. McLin
his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple, and I the said
James Kennard, for myself and my heirs, Executors and
administrators, do hereby covenant, grant and agree, to and
with the said Samuel B. McLin, that I am now the owner
of the said premises, and that I am seized of a good
indefeasible estate of inheritance therein, and that I
have full right and power to sell and convey the same in
fee simple absolute, that the said premises are free from
all incumbrances, that the said Samuel B. McLin and his
heirs and assigns may forever hereafter have, hold occupy
posses and enjoy the same without any suit, moles=
=tation, trouble or eviction of any person whatever,
lawfully claiming any right therein, and that I the
said James Kennard and all persons hereafter claiming
under me, will at any time hereafter at the request
and expense of the said Samuel B. McLin, his heirs
and assigns, make all such further and other assurances
for the more effectual conveying of the said premises
with the appurtenances as may be required by him or
them, and that I the said James Kennard will forever
warrant and
^defend the right and title to the premises hereby granted
and conveyed against the claim of all persons claiming
or to to claim by through or under me.
  In Witness whereof, I the said James Kennard
have hereunto set my hand and seal this the         day
of July A.D. 1855 Eighteen hundred and fifty five.
