Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that I
Sarah E. Watson, wife of Lemuel L. Watson the granter of the
foregoing deed for the conveyance of real estate, for and in consid
=eration of the premises in said deed recited, and in further
consideration of the Sum of one dollar to me in hand paid by
William E. Purvis, at and before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do renounce
relinquish and release, unto the Said William E. Purvis all my
rights, claim or Equity of Dower in and to the premises by said
deed conveyed, as fully and absolutely as I might or could in any
way do the Same, In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my
hand, and affixed my seal this eighth (8th) day of October A.D. 1855

Alachua County   } Personally appeared before the Subscriber
a Justice of the Peace for Alachua County, Sarah E. Watson
to me well known to be the person who executed the foregoing
relinquishment of Dower, and She being by me examined separate
and apart from her Husband, acknowledged and declared that
had executed the Same freely and voluntarily upon her part
and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear
of, or from her said husband.
  In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand
and affixed my seal, this eighth (8th) day of October A.D. 1855

  Before the Subscriber Clerk of the Circuit Court of Alachua
County, Eastern Circuit of Florida, personally came Lemuel
L. Watson the granter of the foregoing deed and to me well
known, and acknowledged that he has executed the Same for the
