The State of Florida
To all whom these presents may concern
aforesaid send greeting:
Whereas, I the said Fellman Ingram in and by
my two certain notes, or obligations
bearing date the same day, as the
day of the date of these presents cop-
ies of which are in the margin, stand
firmly held and bound unto William
K. Ryan of the City of Charleston
in the State of South Carolina, in
the full and just sum of Twelve
hundred Dollars, as in and by the
said notes, and condition thereof
reference being thereunto had, will more
fully appear
Now Know all Men, That I the said Fillman
Ingram, in consideration of the said debt
and sum of money aforesaid, and for
the better securing the payment thereof
to the said William K. Ryan, according
to the condition of the said notes; and
also in consideration of the further sum
of Three dollars, to me the said Fillman
Ingram in hand well and truly paid by the said
William K. Ryan, at and before the sealing
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, I the said Fillman Ingram
have granted, bargained, sold, and released, and
by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and release
unto the said William K. Ryan, all that tract of land
situated and lying in Alachua County, in the said
state, designated by the section number thirty tree (33)
of Township number nine (9) in Range number (20)
twenty, in the general place and survey of the said
county, hereinafter particularly mentioned, and meas-
uring and containing Six hundred and forty acres
more or less, which tract or section of land is included
within the limits of the grant heretofore made unto one
Fernando De la Masa, Arredondo, formerly of the ter-
ritory of East Florida, and is now in the possession
William K. Ryan, together with all and singular the rights
members, hereditaments and appurtenances, to the said prem-
ises belonging, or in anywise, incedent or appertaining
To Have and to hold, all and singular the said prem
ises unto the said William K. Ryan, his heirs and assigns
forever. And I the said Fillman Ingram, do hereby
bind myself, my heirs, executors and administrators
to warrant and forever defend all and singular the
said premises, unto the said William K. Ryan his
heirs and assigns, from and against me, my heirs
my heirs executors, administrators and assigns and all
