of the Circuit Court in and for said County and State, personally
came George R. Fairbanks one of the subscribing witnesses to the
within Indenture who being duly sworn according to Law, says that
he saw C.A.M. Mitchel Special Master in Chancery sign seal
and deliver the same for the purposes therein mentioned, and that he
witnessed the same in the presence of the other subscribing witness

State of Florida }
Alachua County   } This Indenture made this first day of January
                   in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred
and fifty five between Enoch T. Gieger of the County of Alachua
and State aforesaid of the first part,, George B. Ellis of the County
and State aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth that the said
Enoch T. Gieger for and in the consideration of the sum of
twenty five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said
George B. Ellis at and before the sealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath
granted, bargained, sold, conveyed, aliened, remised, released and
confirmed, and doth by these presents, grant bargain sell
alien, convey remise, release and confirm unto the said George
B. Ellis the following described tract of land, lying and being
situated in the County of Alachua and the State of Florida and
known and described to be in the Arredondo Grant, as follows,
to wit, The North West half of the North West quarter
of Section twenty five (25) Range Eighteen (18) in Township
nine (9) containing Eighty (80) acres more or less, with
all the appertinances and all the claim, interest, right title,
and demand of the said Enoch T. Gieger in and to the premises
to have and to hold the same with the appertinances unto the
said George B. Ellis his heirs and assigns forever in
fee simple  And the said Enoch T. Gieger for himself
and his heirs doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the said
George B. Ellis, that he the said Enoch T. Gieger is now
the owner of the said premises, and is seized of a good indefeasible
estate of inheritance therein, and that he has full right and power
to sell and convey the same in fee simple absolute, that the
same are free and clear from all incumbrances, that the said
George B. Ellis his heirs and assigns may forever hereafter
have hold, occupy, possess, and enjoy the same without any suit
molestation or interruption by any person whatsoever lawfully
claiming any right therein, and that the said Enoch T. Gieger
and all other person hereafter claiming under him, will at
anytime hereafter, at the request and Expense of the said
George B. Ellis his heirs and assigns, make and execute all
such other and further assurances for the more
