County of Alachua      Be it remembered that on this the
Sixteenth day of November in the year eighteen hundred
and fifty five before me a Justice of the Peace in and
for said county personally appeared Emily A. Nostrand
wife of the above named Stephen L. Nostrand and having
been privately and separately examined by me she says
that she did freely voluntarily and without any
compulsion on her part without any dread or fear of any
person whomsoever renounce release and forever relin-
quish unto the above named James C. Standly his
heirs and assigns all her interest and estate and
all her right and claim of dower to all and singular
the premises above described

a Justice of the Peace for the county and state afore-
said Emily A. Nostrand who being examined by me
seperately and apart from her husband acknowledged
that she had executed the foregoing deed and the
above relinquishment of Dower freely and voluntarily
on her part and without any compulsion restraint
or fear from her said husband.
