Alachua County } This Indenture made this 13th day of November
A.D. 1855 between Rueben S. Stoughton and Mrs Harriet W______
Faulkner: Witnesseth that I Rueben S. Stoughton of Mica-
nopy for the sum of One hundred dollars to me in hand
paid, whereof this is the receipt, have sold bargained and
conveyed and by these presents do hereby sell bargain &
convey to the said Harriet W. Faulkner, One half acre of
land bounded as follows: Commencing Eighty three
feet from the North West corner of a lot owned by McIntosh
& Powell and running North one hundred and five feet (105)
thence running East two hundred and ten feet (210) thence
running south one hundred and five feet (105) thence run-
ning west two hundred & ten feet (210) to the point of beginning
the front of said lot being bounded by the street running
North. The said Grantor conveys said lot, and the said
and her assigns
purchaser^receives said lot on the following conditions to wit;
That is to say the said grantee and her assigns in perpe
tuity, shall not vend on said premises any ardent spirits
in less quantities than one quart, and they agree that
on forfeiture of said conditions, said premises shall
return to said grantor and his heirs. To have and
to hold said premises with all rights, appurtenances
thereunto for the benefit of Harriet W. Faulkner her heirs and
assigns, the title whereof I will warrant and defend

Elizabeth Stoughton of Micanopy do hereby relinquish my
right of Dower in the certain parcel of land conveyed by
the foregoing Deed by Reuben S. Stoughton to Mrs Harriet W. Faulkner
Witness my hand and seal this 13th day of November 1855

Know all men by these presents that I Eliz-
abeth Stoughton wife of Reuben S. Stoughton hereby acknowledge
that the above relinquishment of dower was made by me
freely and without any constraint by my said husband
