second part that he the said John Lewis is fully and lawfully seized
of the said premises in a free and unencumbered fee simple
title and that he hath the lawful right to convey the same, and
for himself his heirs executors and administrators doth further
covenant and agree with the said William B. Lewis his heirs and
assigns, the free and unencumbered fee simple title to the said
premises in the said William B. Lewis his heirs and assigns
forever to warrant and defend by these presents against all
persons or person whatsoever claiming or to claim the same or
any part thereof under any legal or equitable title whatsoever.
In testimony whereof the said John Lewis party of the first part

Before me Lemuel Wilson Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Alachua County Eastern Circuit of Florida personally appeared
Jesse T. Bernard one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing
deed of conveyance who being duly sworn says that he saw
John Lewis sign seal and deliver the same for the purposes
therein mentioned and that the signed the same as a witness

Alachua Co       } This Indenture made this sixteenth day
of November one thousand eight hundred & fifty five between
Benjamin M. Jones of the County of Alachua & State of Florida
of the first part and Philip Harvey Dudley of the second
part of the County & State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said
B.M. Jones for & in consideration of the sum of One thousand
dollars to him in hand paid by the said P.H. Dudley at and before
the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold conveyed aliened
remised released and confirmed and doth by these presents grant
bargain sell alien convey remise release & confirm unto the said
P.H. Dudley the following described tract or parcel of land lying
being and situated in the County and State aforesaid and known
described as follows to wit S1/2 of the NE1/4 of SE quarter of
Section No 31 in Township 9, Range 18 containing one hundred & fifty two
